Spherical Roller Bearings

Spherical roller bearings are bearings for the most severe fields of application and contain two rows of symmetrical barrel rollers which set freely in the hollow-spherical outer raceway. These kind of bearings offer an unequalled combination of high load capacity, high tolerance to shock loads, and self-aligning ability but they are limited by speed. The center point of the sphere in the outer ring raceway is at the bearing axis. These bearings can be mounted directly on the shaft or with the help of the adapter sleeve (indicated together with H series) or withdrawal sleeves (indicated with AH series). The standard versions of spherical roller bearings are supplied only with sheet-metal or brass cage.
