Tapered Roller Bearings

Features
Designations are used according to widely accepted standards and relates to ISO 355 rules for contact angles and boundary dimensions. Unless otherwise specified, bearings dimensional accuracy is normal, however, improved running accuracy is available. These bearings consist of four main components: cup, cone, cage and rollers. The components are conically shaped thus providing ability to accommodate one direction axial and radial loads, while cage separates and holds the rollers. Different contact angles are available in order to provide better load or speed characteristics. During operation under normal conditions with minimum radial load ensured, bearing itself generates axial load from internal contact angle of the bearing.
